Star Wars Unlimited Showdown

Join us for our first Star Wars Unlimited Showdown event!

Store Showdowns take the form of a tournament and award prizes for both participation and placement. This is the most competitive that Casual Play gets, but the focus is still on having fun and learning the game, making these events the perfect opportunity for someone to dip their toes into the tournament scene! (This is a Premier event and will follow the Star WarsTM: Unlimited Tournament Regulations.)

The Event

We will be running 5 rounds of swiss pairings with a top 4 cut. Each round will be a best of 3 games. Prizes will be awarded when the cut is made and the top 4 prizes will be awarded after the cut is played.

Each player will receive a weekly OP pack for participation as well as a Showdown promotional card. Each player will receive a Shadows of the Galaxy booster pack for every round they win (not including the top cut rounds.)

There are also promotional cards for the Top 8, the Top 4, the Finalists and the Event Champion.

Timings

Registration starts at 10:30 with the first round starting around 11:15. There will be a 30 minute lunch break after the third round.

Facilities

Parking is available in our car park or on the street. Disabled access is not currently available to all event areas. Please contact us if you need more information.

Food

Snacks and drinks are available on-site however KFC and McDonalds are a short drive away as are Lidl, Tesco Express and Asda.
